Privacy Policy

Last updated 27 June 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how TradeAware ("we", "us") collects and uses your personal data. TradeAware is operated as a sole trader in the United Kingdom. Contact: support@tradeaware.co.uk.

What we collect

(1) Account details you give us (name, email); (2) the trades, journal entries, plans and prop-account information you enter; (3) billing information — payments are handled by our payment provider and we do not store your full card details; (4) technical and usage data (device, log and analytics data, and cookies).

Why we use it and our lawful bases

To provide and run the service (performance of our contract with you); to take payment and manage your subscription (contract); to improve, secure and support the service (our legitimate interests); to send service messages and, where you agree, occasional updates (consent/contract); and to meet legal obligations.

Sharing

We share data only with the providers that run TradeAware — our app/hosting platform, our payment provider, our email provider and our analytics provider — as needed to deliver the service. We do not sell your personal data. Some providers may process data outside the UK; where they do, appropriate safeguards are in place.

Retention

We keep your data while your account is active and for as long as needed for the purposes above or to meet legal requirements. You can ask us to delete it.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR you can access, correct, delete, restrict or port your data, object to processing, and withdraw consent at any time — email support@tradeaware.co.uk. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).

Security

We take reasonable measures to protect your data, though no method is completely secure.

Children

TradeAware is not intended for anyone under 18.

Changes

We may update this policy and will post the new version here.
